Who is this resource for?

• Dental Script Modules are completed by all Foundation Dentists in the UK to support safe prescribing of medication.
• Dental Core Trainees (DCTs) who have not completed foundation training in the UK have not completed the Script modules. Many of the DCTs are working in Maxillofacial and Oral Medicine departments are prescribing outside of the Dental formulary.
• To support the DCTs and mitigate the risk,  IDG are required to complete all of the Script modules by the end of October 2025 and upload the certificates to their eportfolios.
